The Courthouse neighborhood is named after the Arlington County Court House (which go figure is in Courthouse) and the corresponding Court House metro station.  The Courthouse neighborhood largely surrounds the Arlington County Government complex and is a wonderful place to live, with Clarendon just to the west and Rosslyn and all of DC downhill to the east.

Courthouse is a neighborhood that buzzes with just the right amount of action.  Every Saturday, the large parking lot between the County Buildings and the Court House transforms into a large Antique market with loads of cool stuff for sale.  Adjacent to the Antique Market is a popular Farmer’s Market.

Numerous trendy bars and restaurants populate the Courthouse neighborhood with two of the “hippest” being guarapo, which is on Wilson Blvd and Yaku, which is in the equally stylish Odyssey CondominiumMe-Jana is a great spot for Lebanese food and Listrani’s is a good option for pizza and casual Italian fair.  If you are looking to go out for a drink in Courthouse, you’ll always have plenty of company at Ragtime and Ireland’s Four Courts.  Every day of the week, Arlingtonians line up at Brooklyn Bagels for their tasty round treats.

Condo options in Courthouse are aplenty.  Located on the border of Courthouse and Rosslyn is Colonial Village, a picturesque neighborhood with loads of green space that in many ways resembles a college campus.  Perched atop a ridge overlooking all of DC, The Odyssey (aptly located at 2001 N 19th St) offers up a “South Beach” feel with world-class views overlooking the Potomac and The National Mall.  On the other side of the Court House from the Odyssey are The Williamsburg, Courthouse Hill and The Charleston.  These buildings offer easier access to the action in Clarendon and Whole Foods Market.

For townhome living in Arlington, Courthouse Hil is the most centrally located and offers one and two car garage townhouse options.  The contemporary Bromptons at Courthouse are just across the street their Rosslyn counterparts.  On the other side of Lee Hwy (a 15 or so minute walk down N. Veitch Street), tucked into the woods overlooking the Potomac River is Hillcrest, which features beautiful and spacious two-car garage townhomes.
