Colonial Village is one of my absolute favorite neighborhoods because of it's campus-like setting and amazing location. Colonial Village is a short walk from the Courthouse Metro station and is adjacent to loads of bars, shops and restaurants. As long as you don't need an en suite washer and dryer (however- Colonial Village does have central a/c), this neighborhood tends to be a great value for one and two bedroom condos.
